In the UK, there are over 120 million tyres on our road and, on average, over their lifetime each of them degrades and loses around 1kg of rubber and synthetic material into the environment. So, what innovations are happening to reduce this loss? Is the answer behavioural or technological? What will happen if we move to more electric-powered vehicles? And, will modern innovation help capture and harvest these materials for a more circular economy?
