Waste analysis
We offer a tool for the EfW sector in the form of laboratory testing and the ability of the laboratory to characterise the properties of feedstocks to ensure maximum potential is realised. Laboratory analysis can also detect potential issues with feedstocks before they cause any costly damage or regulatory conditions are breached.
Our range of testing includes:
- Gross and Net Calorific Value
- Moisture content
- Ash content
- Volatile matter
- Elemental Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen Oxygen, and Sulphur
- Metals analysis
- Halides (Chlorine, Fluorine, Bromine, and total halides)
- Bulk density
- Particle Size Distribution
- Compositional analysis (percentage paper, metals plastics etc.)
- Biomass content
- Ash melting properties
WAC testing
There are 4 main WAC suites, the Full Suite, Inert Suite, Stable Nonreactive Hazardous Suite and the Hazardous Suite. The Full Suite as the name suggests covers the testing required for the other 3 suites. These suites are carried out at our lab in accordance with BS EN 12457.
