Rising fuel costs continue to impact the entire transport and logistics sector. To keep your collections running reliably while maintaining a fair and transparent pricing structure, SUEZ introduced a temporary and hopefully short-lived fuel surcharge effective from 01 April 2026.

This page explains what the surcharge is, how it works, and where you can find the latest rates. We’ll update this information every month, so you always know exactly what to expect.

How much will the fuel surcharge be?

The table below shows the percentage surcharge to be applied from 01 May 2026 per service type:

Service type surcharge percentage table

  • – For services charged per exchange (e.g. skips or RoRo), the surcharge is applied per movement.
  • – For services charged per lift (e.g. FEL/REL/Eurobin services), the surcharge is applied to each lift.
  • – For services charged on a periodic basis (e.g. a monthly service fee), the surcharge is applied to the relevant service charge within that period.

How might the fuel surcharge change?

The table below shows how the fuel surcharge percentage will vary by service type, based on the average monthly diesel price to SUEZ. All diesel prices shown are exclusive of VAT and are based on bulk purchase rates, which may differ from standard forecourt pump prices.
