Fast acting SUEZ employee saves the day!
Mike O’Hanlon, Operative at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK spotted a handbag on the recycling conveyor belt of the materials recycling facility based in Exeter, he quickly retrieved it and realised that the handbag had accidentally been discarded amongst the recycling and picked up by the local kerbside collection crew.
Amongst the contents Mike spotted a concessionary travel pass, a substantial sum of cash, bank cards and keys, so he passed it on to his supervisor.
After a little investigation the pensioner based in Sidmouth was reunited with her handbag.
Anthony Beveridge, Contract Supervisor for SUEZ said ‘I was an absolute pleasure to be able to return the bag and its contents to its rightful owner, she was over the moon to have it back.’
