Sparkling results as SUEZ Depot raises over £400 from charity car wash
A heartfelt initiative brought together the team at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK where colleagues at the Poole depot gathered for a charity car wash and BBQ event, successfully raising over £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support and the British Heart Foundation.
The event took place at the Poole depot on Mannings Heath Road and attracted participants from all departments based there. Volunteers enthusiastically washed over 17 cars, providing a sparkling service while promoting a real team spirit.
In addition to the car wash, attendees enjoyed delicious BBQ offerings, with burgers and sausages kindly donated by County Foods, creating a fun atmosphere and helping to raise even more for the charities.
“We are overwhelmed by the support from our colleagues,” said Max Matthews, Key Account Director at SUEZ “It’s incredible to see everyone come together for such important causes. Every car washed and every burger sold has made a real difference to the support we’ve been able to give these charities. I’d like to thank County Foods, for collaborating with us on this event and donating all the food items for the BBQ, it was really appreciated by everyone.”
All proceeds from the event will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, which provides vital services for people living with cancer, and the British Heart Foundation, dedicated to funding research and supporting those with heart conditions.
