  • The Waste Leadership Summit is the UK's leading forum dedicated to the commercial realities of waste, sustainability and investment. Taking place on 15 October in London, this year's theme is ‘Where Sustainability Strategy Meets Commercial Reality'.

     

    The Summit brings together senior leaders from across waste management, retail, food and drink, manufacturing, and investment to discuss some of the sector's most pressing issues.

     

    Topics include packaging reform and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), food waste legislation, the future of hard-to-recycle materials, and preparing for the next wave of waste regulation.

     

    Dan Carolan, Contract Director UK at SUEZ, will join David Taylor, Executive Director, GMCA Waste and Resources, for the third session, focused on transformative investment case studies. Together, they will share insights on SOCIAL VALUE CLAUSE: THE SUEZ REUSE HUB.

     

    The event will also feature interactive roundtable discussions led by industry experts, providing delegates with the opportunity to explore key strategic themes from the conference programme in greater depth.
