SUEZ celebrates being named as one of the UK’s Top 50 Employers of Veterans in 2026

SUEZ today announces it has been named in the 50 GREAT British Employers of Veterans, a showcase of the UK's leading Forces Friendly employers and what they offer to military veterans.

The accolade is the leading benchmark of companies employing veterans and other members of the UK’s military community.

Awarded ahead of Armed Forces Day 2026, it’s testament to our long-standing commitment to supporting ex-forces personnel into new civilian careers. 

Dr Tracey Leghorn, Chief Business Services Officer for SUEZ in the UK said: “With over 14,000 organisations signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant, this recognition means a great deal to us. Supporting the Armed Forces community is an important part of how we approach diversity, equity and inclusion. It’s about recognising different experiences, opening up opportunities, and making sure people feel welcomed and are supported when they join us. We thank all our veterans for their service.” 

SUEZ employs over 350 colleagues from the Armed Forces community, with a dedicated Veterans Network to build a sense of community across the business. They bring highly transferable skills and dedication to a variety of roles - from driving vehicles to energy-from-waste operations technician, to area supervisor and other managerial positions.
