Veterans at SUEZ

We value the skills and experience that those who have served bring to enhance our organisation, and we recognise the important role that we play, as an employer, in supporting veterans in their transition to civilian employment and developing a fulfilling career path.

Since 2018, we have established a 300+ active Veterans Network, which provides peer support to veterans, reserves and their families as they develop their career paths with us. The network also provides networking opportunities and offers dedicated training sessions. In November 2022, members of the network travelled to Normandy to lay a wreath at the British Normandy Memorial on behalf of SUEZ.

If you are interested in supporting the Armed Forces, you may wish to consider signing the Armed Forces Covenant or gaining accreditation through the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. We currently have over 60 suppliers who have gained this accreditation.

How to sign the Armed Forces Covenant and gain accreditation through the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

1. Visit www.armedforcescovenant.gov.uk and use the template to sign the Armed Forces Covenant.
2. Email your signed covenant to [email protected] and copy in [email protected].
3. Once you have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, you can nominate yourself for a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. To express your interest in the scheme, simply go to https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/defence-employer-recognition-scheme/defence-employer-recognition-scheme.
