SUEZ supports Rewind Radio Christmas toy appeal

SUEZ recycling and recovery UK were delighted to participate in the Rewind Radio Christmas toy appeal. This initiative aims to ensure that children and families across Cornwall have gifts to enjoy during the festive season.

With over 220 staff involved from all the sites in Cornwall, a significant donation was arranged by Claire Hillier, Senior Operations Administrator at SUEZ. Clare was also delighted to take part in a radio interview with Scott Temple on Dutchy Daytimes.

“We were delighted to support an initiative that spreads such positivity at this time of year.” said Clare. “ Christmas can be a challenging time for many, and this collection was a wonderful way to support the local community.”

Helen Nowden, Head of Events at Cornwall Rewind Radio said “The toy appeal is about so much more than gifts — it’s about spreading hope, kindness, and the true spirit of Christmas, reminding families that they’re not alone at this special time of year. We’re incredibly grateful to every individual and business that has supported the appeal; every donation is an act of generosity that helps create magical Christmas moments and lasting smiles for children who might otherwise go without. The appeal was hugely successful, far beyond our expectations, and perfectly reflects the kindness and Christmas spirit of our community.”
