SUEZ backs Devon Army Cadets with rugby team sponsorship
The sponsorship was organised by Scott Wallace, Area Supervisor for SUEZ who volunteers with the Devon Army Cadet Force outside of his day-to-day role. A former member of the armed forces, and a member of the Verterans Network at SUEZ, Scott dedicates some of his personal time to supporting cadets and helping them gain positive life experiences.
"The Devon Army Cadet Force provides young people with not only the opportunity to develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills but also physical fitness through sport. We’re incredibly grateful for the support SUEZ has given us, Rugby plays such an important role in bringing cadets together, promoting discipline, and camaraderie both on and off the pitch." Said Scott.
Rob Sanders, Regional Manager for SUEZ, said: "The funding highlights the importance of supporting community organisations that provide valuable opportunities for young people across Devon, we’re delighted to have been able to provide the kit for these young players."
Named as one of the top 50 GREAT British Employers of Veterans in 2026, a UK leading Forces Friendly employer, the sponsorship also demonstrates SUEZ's support for its veteran network and the wider armed forces community while recognising the valuable contribution that employees make through volunteering and community engagement.
