Consultation workshop | Payment mechanisms

• The third session in our programme of deep-dive discussions will focus on a a small group of peers seeking to understand the proposed payment mechanisms across the consultations (EPR and DRS). With industry insight from SUEZ recycling and recovery UK experts, this two-hour, informal session aims to enable an open discussion of a number of key issues on payment mechanisms and financial flows, including:

  • The potential risks and opportunities in the funding flows and allocations
  • The changes that the payment mechanisms may induce
  • Gaps in the understanding of how the payment mechanisms will work (or should work)
  • Any preferences in the payment mechanisms being proposed by different stakeholders
