Packaging Waste - Reforming UK Policy, Skills & Resource Management

  • Dr Adam Read, Chief Sustainability and External Affairs Officer, will be speaking at the Packaging Waste - Reforming UK Policy, Skills & Resource Management organised by Coventry & Warwickshire Materials Society (CWMS) in collaboration with the Midlands Packaging Society. The event is taking place on the 25 October 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at University of Warwick, Coventry.

     

    He will be sharing his thoughts on a wide range of issues surrounding household and commercial waste and its recycling, focusing on plastics in particular. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion where Dr Adam will be joined by Prof Ton Peijs, Professor of Polymer Technology and Director of the National Polymer Processing Centre at WMG and Dr Stuart Coles, Reader of Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing at WMG to discuss the issues raised in the lecture and respond to questions from the audience.
