  • The Energy from Waste conference 2024 taking place on the 06 and 07 March in London, will once again bring together an exceptional line-up of the industry's best speakers, with technical experts, international leaders, and innovative developers providing an unmissable two days of the latest information based around decarbonising waste to energy and optimising resources.

     

    John Scanlon, Chief Executive Officer for SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, joins the Leaders’ Panel where he will share his views on how some of the waste to energy industry's top leaders view the sector, what it will look like in ten year's time and the role it will play towards wider decarbonisation.

     

    Dr. Adam Read, Chief External Affairs and Sustainability Officer for SUEZ chairs the panel discussion exploring the critical engineering and technical skills required for the development, delivery and business continuity of the waste and resources industry. Amy Bloom, Technical Plant Engineer for SUEZ will be participating in the same and sharing her views.

     

    Stuart Hayward-Higham, Chief Technical Development & Innovation Officer for SUEZ addresses as a keynote speaker on industry’s response and analysis to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) policies and their interconnection. He will also be chairing sessions on evolution of waste to energy in a high efficiency plant and small-scale waste to energy for local hydrogen production and use.
