Recycling and recovery

Modern slavery supply chain questionnaire

Modern day slavery is a world-wide and growing issue. The waste management and recycling sector has been specifically targeted by perpetrators of this type of crime, so as a leading waste management and recycling business in the UK, we recognise the importance of adopting a robust approach.

We have been working closely with the Slave Free Alliance to identify the areas of our supply chain that are at the highest risk of modern slavery. We will be issuing questionnaires to suppliers in these high-risk categories and increasing the rigour of both the onboarding process for new suppliers and the evaluation tenders. If you receive a questionnaire, we’d appreciate it if you could complete and return it as soon as possible.

If you would like to know more about how to combat modern slavery in your organisation and supply chain, take a look at the training available from the Supply Chain Sustainability School. The Slave Free Alliance is also hosting a series of lunch‘n’learns over the next few months, please see details below and click on the links to register:

SUEZ is a partner of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, which also offers training.
