Sustainable procurement

We’re committed to building a sustainable future that doesn’t cost the earth. In line with this, we’re working to improve the sustainability of our supply chain year-on-year by encouraging advances in environmental practice, social value and safety, as well as innovation and collaboration.

We’re pleased to announce that this important work will now be led by Wendy Storey, who has been appointed to the role of Procurement Sustainability and Governance Manager. Wendy will be supporting the procurement team and the wider business to embed sustainable principles into our purchasing practices and selection of the suppliers we choose to work with.

SUEZ is a partner of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, which offers free training resources on sustainability as well as other topics. Once you have registered, you can assess your knowledge and a dedicated learning plan will be created for you. There are also monthly webinars and events on a variety of topics.

For small and medium sized companies there is the SME Climate Hub, another free resource, which can help smaller companies understand how to reduce their carbon emissions.

If you have any suggestions about how your company can support SUEZ and our sustainable ambitions, then please contact Wendy at [email protected].
